Digital Marketplace is moving to BuyICT

DTA

The Digital Marketplace (DMP) panel will be moving to BuyICT.gov.au, an easy-to-use platform that ICT buyers and sellers have been using since 2015.

BuyICT recently won the national Australian Institute of Project Management award for best government project. The move to the new platform will occur in late May of 2022.

DMP users will find the experience very similar to what they are used to, with the workflow for initiating a request for quote or a request for information unchanged. The move is designed to benefit users involved in multiple types of ICT procurement, who will now only need a single log-in to access all of their opportunities.

The move will also see enhancements made to the platform, as part of the government’s ongoing commitment to streamline whole-of-government ICT procurement. These enhancements are informed by user research and engagement with buyers and sellers, and include features such as a new opportunities listing page with keyword search and advanced filters.

We will communicate directly with users about the changes in the coming weeks. We will be holding information sessions and encourage all users to register on the DTA Eventbrite page to receive updates about the events.
