Smart CCTV cameras have been installed in Campbelltown City Centre. The CCTV cameras are being utilised in Queen St, Hurley St, Dumaresq St, Patrick St, Lithgow St, Railway St, Campbelltown Station overpass, Hurley St underpass, and Milgate Lane.
We are using this technology to monitor kerb use and vehicle, pedestrian and cycling activity.
This will help us to:
- Understand demand on kerbs
- Provide data on how kerbs are used
- Understand how kerbs could better meet community needs
Footage will be processed by an AI application and then converted into numerical data. All data is de-identified and anonymous, with no identifying information being collected.
