The winning man shared that he and his partner checked their ticket yesterday morning but spent the rest of the day wondering if their life-changing news was real.

“I am at work, driving a truck but I have just pulled over. I can’t miss this phone call!
“I checked the ticket yesterday morning alongside my partner and we were umming and ahhing all day wondering if it was true.
“I said to my partner, ‘I figured they’d just email you if you won’, and she said, ‘Nah, they’ll probably call you tomorrow!’. And here we are!
“We were sitting down to dinner on Saturday night, and something just told me to grab a ticket. I thought, ‘Better get one, just in case!’.
“We’re going to be debt free moving forward, which is amazing.
“We can pay off the mortgage and car loans, and we’ll probably have a couple of hundred left over.
“We would love to travel to New Zealand and make some great memories with our kids.
“Thank you! We’ll have to celebrate as a family!”
