WA Environment Minister Stephen Dawson has announced that Western Australia’s new Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) will launch on 2 June 2020.’Containers for Change’ will provide a 10-cent refund for every eligible beverage container.Two key objectives of the CDS are to:
More than 170 refund points across the state will open on the launch date, with 229 refund points to open by the end of the scheme’s first year.
