Cessnock City Library is pleased to announce it will host a free information session on electric vehicles from 10am to 12noon on Saturday 16 March 2024.

Attendees will join independent consultant and expert, Julien Freed, as he shares his knowledge and expertise on the benefits and advancements of electric vehicles.

The workshop will cover various topics, including reasons to consider switching to an electric vehicle, the different technologies utilised by different types, and why charging is not as big of a problem as it is often made out to be.

Julien will also discuss the real costs, both financial and environmental, associated with electric vehicles, and debunk the myth that autonomy and safety are major concerns. His goal is to make it easier for individuals to make an informed decision.

Library Coordinator Rose-marie Walters, is encouraging those who have an interest in more environmentally-friendly car options to come along to the session to find out more.

“Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the benefits of electric vehicles, along with the advancements in technology that make them an increasingly viable option for environmentally conscious consumers,” said Ms Walters.

This session is free, but space is limited. Bookings are essential and can be made under the ‘What’s on’ section of the library website at www.cessnock.nsw.gov.au/libraries, at the library desk, or by calling Cessnock Library on 4993 4399 or Kurri Kurri Library on 4937 1638.
