Police have declared a crime scene in Brisbane’s West End following an altercation between a group of people and the occupants of a vehicle early this morning.
Just before 2am, police were called to Russell Street following reports of people fighting on the street.
Upon arrival, police found one man with serious stab wounds to his back. He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A second man sustained an injury to his head and to his arm. He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the disturbance.
