Dive back in – Prahran Aquatic Centre is reopening.
There’s been a busy three months of much-needed refurbishment at the Prahran Aquatic Centre.
Last updated in the 1990s, the much-loved community pool has been refreshed and modernised, and is ready for you to dive, swim, float or paddle in again!
What can you expect to see outside?
The 50-metre and toddler pools have been repaired or retiled and fitted with an anti-slip pool deck. The children’s play area has new equipment and the grandstand has had a freshen-up, so you can sit back and enjoy the view!
To make the centre more accessible for all, new yellow floor markings will help vision-impaired swimmers to move easily around the pool and changing rooms.
Inside we are very excited about a new addition – dry togs!
Dry togs dryers can dry your bathers, togs or swimmers in seconds, so they can be thrown in a bag ready for your next swim session. The spa, sauna, bathrooms and changing facility have had a facelift too.

Be one of the first 200 through the doors in the morning when we reopen to grab a free muffin or coffee from Café Pixxina before diving back in at Prahran Aquatic Centre.
