Police can now release the name of the man who died following a fatal crash on Dixon Street, Wellington on Saturday.
He was Declan Curley, 37, an Irish national living in New Zealand.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
