Police hope the public’s assistance will help generate some leads on a distinctive trailer stolen in Auckland.
In the early hours of 5 March, a large generator was stolen from a Mt Wellington residential address.
This generator has been sighted being towed by a 4WD vehicle in the Penrose area during the day and was possibly heading in a northerly direction.
Police are releasing two photos of the red 140kva generator and the trailer transporting it.
It’s not something you see every day being towed on our roads, so we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it on their travels or on the motorway.
