Sunshine Coast Council has partnered with Australia’s most powerful grant search engine, Grant Guru, to connect the region’s businesses and community groups to more than $35.9 billion worth of grants.
The Sunshine Coast Funding Finder is a comprehensive search engine that connects you to local, state, federal and private grants – all from one easy-to-access location. You can simply use the search engine to find available grants and filter grants by specifying location, industry and type of project.
The website also assists with advice and top tips for finding and applying for grants to maximise your chances of receiving the funding you need.
Users can also register to receive alerts about funding programs relevant to them as they become available, allowing businesses and community groups an opportunity to develop well prepared funding applications.
Sunshine Coast Economic Development Portfolio Councillor Steve Robinson said Sunshine Coast businesses and community groups may be eligible for more than 900 grants.
“Funding Finder is a grant finding service for businesses, community groups and not-for-profits. This comprehensive and up-to-date funding database makes finding and applying for grants easy,” Cr Robinson said.
“There are a lot of great funding opportunities out there, but the process of finding and applying for grants can be daunting and time consuming and many people don’t know where to start looking.
“Our Funding Finder will take the guess work out of searching for grants and help groups and businesses navigate the process.
“The custom search tool hand-picks grants and funding opportunities specifically for businesses and community groups in the Sunshine Coast region. It’s a powerful, but easy-to-use tool that offers a one-stop funding search engine that represents all grants, government or non-government.
“This is a great tool to give our businesses and community groups a competitive advantage.”
