Doubling up to support people with disability to be active

Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is one of sixteen nominated charities around Australia set to benefit from Beyond Bank’s dollar-for-dollar fundraising campaign. DSA will be using the funds raised from the Double Donation Day to assist Australians with disability to provide them with more opportunities to participate in active sport and recreational opportunities.

The Double Donation Days will take place on the 23rd and 24th of May. During these two day’s all money raised by DSA’s loyal network of supporters will be matched by Beyond Bank up to $10,000.

”We are thrilled to be selected as one of the charities to benefit from Beyond Bank’s Double Donation days. This event will help us to continue our work in promoting inclusion and participation in sport for people living with disability” said Kristy Rohrer, National Program Manager – Activate Inclusion Sports Days at Disability Sports Australia.

The Double Donation event is powered by the Beyond Bank Australia Foundation, the charitable arm of Beyond Bank. The foundation connects with not-for-profit organisations around the nation to ensure that they have the support they need to grow and prosper.

Commencing on the 23rd and 24th of May, supporters can donate a tax-deductible amount that will be allocated to DSA. After the two days, this amount will be matched by Beyond Bank. Beyond Bank will announce the final fundraising results after the campaign.

Once the final number is tallied (and doubled), DSA will use the funds in its various community programmes to support people with disability to be active.

Mark your calendars for the 23rd and 24th of May to donate and help twice as many people with disability in Australia to be active.
