Kempsey Shire Council appreciates the strong community interest in the draft Aquatic Strategy currently on public exhibition.
Council has received requests from community organisations and Councillors to extend the exhibition period.
We are pleased to confirm the closure date for survey and submissions has now been extended to Friday 10 November.
We believe this two-week extension provides a good balance between extra time for the community and sufficient time for Council staff to analyse community feedback before a final draft of the Aquatic Strategy is presented to the December meeting of Council for consideration and adoption.
