A 34-year-old man was caught drink driving and allegedly eight times over the alcohol limit in Werribee last night.
Werribee police observed a Nissan Micra sedan driving erratically on Tarneit Road just before midnight.
Officers intercepted the car and established the driver was unlicenced before he returned a positive preliminary breath test.
A Taylors Lakes man was taken to a police station where he returned an alleged breath alcohol reading of 0.402.
He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and unlicenced driving.
