A man was detected allegedly drink driving in Chadstone last night (10 December).
Police intercepted a Subaru Forester station-wagon on Waverley Road about 8pm.
The driver and sole occupant of the car returned a positive reading on the PBT.
The 49-year-old Oakleigh East man was taken to the Oakleigh Police Station where he returned a reading of 0.277%.
He is expected to be charged on summons with exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol.
His vehicle was impounded at a cost of $932.40 for a period of 30 days.
