Nunawading Highway Patrol members caught a drink driver this afternoon in Hawthorn after she was intercepted for using her mobile phone.
Police pulled over a 34-year-old woman from Hawthorn at about 5.30pm on Glenferrie Road.
The driver underwent a preliminary brief test which indicated the presence of alcohol.
She allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test of.102.
The driver’s vehicle, a Toyota Camry, was impounded for thirty days with towing costs of $932.
She is expected to be charged on summons for drink driving and driving while using her mobile phone.
