A drink driver was caught speeding at Port Lincoln yesterday.
About 6.20pm on Thursday 21 August, police detected a Holden sedan travelling at 76 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Ravendale Road, Port Lincoln.
The driver was stopped and submitted to a breath test. He returned a positive reading of 0.180 – over three times the legal limit.
The 65-year-old Port Lincoln man was reported for drink driving and exceeding the speed limit.
He was issued with a 12-month loss of licence and his car was impounded for 28 days.
The man will summonsed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
