Driver dies after crash last week

A woman has died following a serious crash at West Lake Short last week.

About 12.30pm on Friday 31 March, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of West Lakes Boulevard and Military Road after reports of a three car collision.

The driver of a Ford Festiva, an 88-year-old woman from Campbelltown, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, she passed away today from her injuries.

The drivers of the other two vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The death of the woman is the 42nd live lost on South Australian roads this year compared to 20 at the same time last year.
