Drug charges at Logan

Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad Logan have charged two men with drug-related offences after search warrants were executed in Waterford West and Logan Village yesterday.

During the searches, police located and seized quantities of cocaine and methylamphetamine, cash and drug related paraphernalia. The seized drugs have a combined estimated street value of $330,000.

A 29-year-old Logan Village man and alleged associate of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang has been charged with trafficking, supply and possession of dangerous drugs, possess property and possession of things used. He will appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 13

A 30-year-old Waterford man has been charged with trafficking, supply and possession of dangerous drugs, possess property and possession of things used. He is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 13.

Further investigations resulted in the execution of additional search warrants at storage sheds in Loganholme and Yarrabilba, locating cocaine, methylamphetamine and drug related equipment. Investigations are continuing.
