Officers from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Major and Organised Crime Squad – South East Region and Taskforce Maxima have charged a man and member of The Finks OMCG with drug offences after executing a search warrant at a Burleigh Heads address yesterday.
During the search of the West Burleigh Road residence, police located and seized dangerous drugs, drug related equipment and prohibited items including vests and paraphernalia.
The 42-year-old man, allegedly the current President of The Finks OMCG Gold Coast chapter, was charged with three counts of possession of dangerous drugs and possess relevant substance and possession things used in crime. He is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on 14 March.
