Police units from Fawkner, Mill Park and Wodonga have arrested four people after executing search warrants at properties in Melbourne’s north-west and Wodonga.
Search warrants were executed in Essendon Fields, Flemington, Footscray, Airport West, Epping, Mernda and Wodonga yesterday.
Police located and seized cannabis, steroids and drug pre-cursors, along with $150,000 in cash.
A clandestine drug laboratory was uncovered in Wodonga.
A 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Flemington, have been charged with drug possession and possessing the proceeds of crime.
They have been bailed to appear in Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court next month.
A 28-year-old man from Flemington and a 27-year-old man from Wodonga were also arrested and are expected to be charged on summons.
