Drugs seized from city hotel room, South Australia

Eastern District Police intercepted a quantity of drugs believed to be destined for a music festival in Adelaide today.

Acting on information received from the public, Eastern District CIB detectives attended a hotel room in the Adelaide CBD just before 12.30pm on Sunday 6 January.

It will be alleged police located and seized 26 capsules believed to be MDMA, deal bags of cannabis, a small quantity of cocaine and electronic scales.

A 19-year-old Blakeview woman and a 17-year-old boy from Pooraka were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug.

They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court and the Youth Court on 20 February and 7 February.
