Drugs seized in Alice Springs

Members of the Southern Drugs Investigations Unit have arrested three men after locating a substantial quantity of methamphetamine at a home in Alice Springs yesterday.

Detectives conducted a search on an Araluen residence where it is alleged they located 24.4grams of methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia.

The three men, aged 26, 29 and 30 were transported to the Alice Springs Watch house where they were later charged.

The 26-year-old man will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court today charged with one count of Supply schedule 1 – commercial and Administer drug to self.

The 29-year-old man will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court on 23 July 2019 charged with one count of Possess scheduled 2 – less trafficable.

The 30-year-old man will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court today charged with;

1 x Supply schedule 1 – commercial

1 x Possess schedule 1 – trafficable

2 x Possess schedule 2 – trafficable

1 x Possess thing to administer drug

1 x Possess schedule 2 – less trafficable

1 x Unauthorised possession of schedule 8 substance
