A man and woman have been arrested after police located significant quantities of illicit drugs during a search at Reynella today.
Police from Serious and Organised Crime Branch, Crime Gangs Task Force, attended a residential property in Reynella today (Wednesday 2 September) for a search.
During the search, police allegedly located approximately half a kilogram of methamphetamine, half a kilogram of cocaine, half a kilogram of ecstasy, steroids and a cocaine press.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the address during the search.
Later, a 35-year-old man presented himself at Christies Beach Police Station, where he was arrested by Crime Gangs Task Force officers.
The man and woman have been charged with drug trafficking offences.
Both were refused police bail and are expected to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Investigations are continuing.
