The Dust Suppression Program applications close soon on 19th November 2023. This program is open to all Mornington Peninsula homeowners on unsealed and gravel roads.
This program has come about in response to the community’s call for managing dust on unsealed roads. With poor visibility a problem, especially during the warmer months, your safety is our top priority.
Applications are now open for the Dust Suppression Program. Any resident can put forward their application by visiting our website: mornpen.vic.gov.au/dustsuppression
Applications close on 19 November 2023. The Dust Suppression Program begins in early December 2023.
This is not a Mornington Peninsula Shire funded program. Instead, it is a cost neutral service we assist with.
While the Dust Suppression Program is an important tool in maintaining unsealed and gravel roads, we strongly encourage you to drive to the conditions. It’s important to remember that appropriate lower driving speeds will result in less dust, meaning safer driving conditions.
