Our CEO Chris Cowley said that the City of Burnside continues to take steps to reassess its service delivery and offerings in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The City of Burnside continues to take steps to reassess its service delivery and offerings in light of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions ,” Mr Cowley said. “Monday 1 June will see us making the following alternations to current services, where safe to do so and ensuring that the safety and protection of our community comes first. Services or facilities not listed in our COVID-19 portal will continue with any existing arrangements until further updates are provided,” Mr Cowley said.

Coupled with our responsibilities for the health and safety of customers, the library and customer service area will each be limited to 20 patrons at any one time (not including staff).

To help with social distancing and good hygiene, signage, hand hygiene facilities, keeping interaction to a minimum through screens and employment of physical barriers and buffer zones will remain in place. Please note that the library and general customer service areas are classed as separate sections and will be operating accordingly with specific entry and exit points.

Details on access and services can be found in our COVID-19 portal.
