Ebike crash at Cairns

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man in his 60’s who is believed to have fallen from his ebike in Manoora today.

Around 1.10pm a member of the public located the man unconscious on a pathway off Springfied Crescent at Manoora.

The man had injuries consistent with a fall from a bicycle and a green Cullen brand ebike was located near the man.

He is believed to be in his sixties, with grey hair and a grey bushy beard. He is Caucasion, medium build and was wearing grey tracksuit pants and a grey jumper.

The man was transported to Cairns Hospital with facial and head injuries and he remains in a critical condition.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who may know the man or saw him riding the green ebike in Manoora this afternoon prior to 1pm to contact police.
