Just when a Logan woman thought her day off couldn’t get any better, she received a surprising phone call from us revealing her exciting $149,000 win in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The Queensland resident held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Super 66, drawn Saturday 8 August 2026. Each entry scored $149,889.95.
So far in 2026, the Logan City region has had seven major lottery wins that have collectively taken home more than $5.9 million in prize money.
“What?! I’ve won what?” she questioned when we relayed the prize amount.
“That’s surprising news! I had no idea about the win. I haven’t checked my ticket!
“I don’t really play Super 66 – only casually from time to time whenever I feel like it. I randomly decided to do it on Saturday.
“I have the day off because it’s the Ekka public holiday where I am, so no plans for me!
“I won’t be telling anyone about the win and I’m not too sure what I’ll do with the prize, but it will go to good use.
“Thank you for the winning phone call!”
Her winning 12-game QuickPick was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
