Eleven community groups and organisations have benefitted from Central Goldfields Shire Council’s 2019 Community Grants Program.
Council allocated a total of $16,179 to the community groups, their proposed projects and grant amounts include:

Maryborough Field Naturalists Club | Purchase of four UHF hand-held radios | $500 |
Maryborough Community Garden | Hoses, watering cans, soil moisture meter and tool box | $750 |

Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey congratulated the successful community groups.
“Congratulations to the 11 community groups who have received funding for the 2019 Community Grants Program.
“Many of these community groups are run by volunteers and Council is pleased to support and strengthen them through the Community Grants Program.”
