Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) remain on scene at a permitted hazard reduction burn on Pumicestone Road, between Clinker Road and the Bruce Highway, at Elimbah, north of Caboolture. Smoke and flames will be visible to motorists on the Bruce Highway and surrounding areas. Residents should close windows and doors and keep medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition. Smoke can decrease visibility, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
