Elizabeth East house fire, South Australia

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant Elizabeth East house overnight.

Just after 7pm Thursday 14 April police and MFS were called to Fletcher Road, Elizabeth East after reports that a house was on fire. MFS quickly brought the fire under control but damage was caused to the front of the unit and the roof.

Northern District patrols searched the area and called in Crime Scene officers to assist, as it’s suspected the fire may have been deliberately lit.

There was no one living in the premises at the time and no reported injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has seen suspicious activity or people hanging around the vacant premises.
