Police can now release the name of the victim in the Ellerslie homicide investigation.
He was 66-year-old Fuk-Fu Joseph Kwok.
“Police and victim support are working with the whānau through the tragedy they have suffered,” Detective Inspector Scott Beard says.
Enquiries at the scene and in the nearby area are continuing today.
“Police continue to appeal to the public for any information that may assist us with our investigation,” Detective Inspector Beard says.
