Detectives are seeking witnesses to a boat fire at Alexandra Hills this morning.
The 14-foot boat was parked in the front yard of a Kenton Street residence when it caught fire around 5am.
A 42-year-old man was asleep in the boat’s cabin, however escaped uninjured.
The fire spread to a nearby carport and destroyed a Holden Equinox parked underneath.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between 4am and 5:30am to come forward.
