Emergency crews responding to fatal house fire at Parkside, South Australia

Police are investigating a fatal house fire at Parkside today.

Emergency services responded to reports of smoke coming from the window of a unit on Blyth Street just before 4.30pm on Sunday 16 October.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze before it could spread to any adjoining homes.

Sadly, a person was found deceased inside the premises.

Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Police will be preparing a report for the Coroner.
