A woman aged in her 40s has died in hospital following a house fire in North Bendigo last night.
Emergency services were called to a property on Kookaburra Avenue just before 10pm.
The fire was extinguished and a woman was found with serious injuries inside the premises and taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
