Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire which occurred in Oaklands Junction this morning.
Emergency services were called to a property on Oaklands Road about 3.30am after reports that a house was on fire.
The fire was extinguished and a deceased person was found inside the premises.
A crime scene guard is in place and an arson chemist is expected to examine the site in the morning.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
