Police are investigating a house fire at Aldinga Beach this morning.
Just after 6am today (Monday 1 July), police and fire crews were called to a house on Rowley Road in relation to a house fire.
The only occupant, a 71-year-old man managed to escape the house with smoke inhalation and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for assessment.
A number of fire crews attended and quickly extinguished the blaze. However the fire completely destroyed the house.
Fire cause investigators will attend the scene this morning to the cause of the fire.
