On 7 August 2026, the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) permanently suspended the registration of Emerging Environmental Group Pty Ltd as a registered person under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000.
We took this action because we were no longer satisfied that Emerging Environmental Group Pty Ltd was a fit and proper person for the purposes of the Act. As a result, the company is no longer permitted to create renewable energy certificates under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES).
Under the Act, Emerging Environmental Group Pty Ltd has the right to seek an internal review of this decision within 60 days of being notified.
