Police were called to a house in Woodcroft early this morning after reports of an explosion.
At 4.20am on Tuesday 17 September, police and emergency services attended Morningside Drive where they found a man with burn injuries.
The man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a serious but non-life threatening condition.
The initial investigation shows a small explosion occurred that was contained to one room of the house.
Bomb Response Unit are currently at the scene and police are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
