Express your interest in Council’s groups

Cohesive Refugee Week planning meeting

Residents can help guide Camden’s future while giving back to the community, with expressions of interest to join a Council committee or reference group now open.

Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably skilled, experienced and passionate people who would like to represent their community and have their voices heard, in the following committees or groups:

  • Camden International Friendship Association Reference Group;
  • Seniors Reference Group;
  • Heritage Advisory Committee;
  • Camden Companion Animal Advisory Committee;
  • Cohesive Communities Reference Group;
  • Camden Access Reference Group;
  • Camden Youth Reference Group;
  • Flood Risk Management Advisory Committee;
  • Camden Town Farm Reference Group;
  • Camden Cycling Reference Group; and
  • Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park Reference Group.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said joining one of the many groups would give residents the chance to have their say.

“Council is committed to having the community’s input and this is a great opportunity for residents,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Our community has many members with fantastic local knowledge and expertise, and it is important for that to be shared, in particular with these groups.

“If you have some spare time and are willing to give back to the community, I encourage you to fill in our survey and express your interest.”
