Extradition – Manslaughter in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have extradited a 36-year-old man to the Northern Territory in relation to the death of a 31-year-old woman in Alice Springs in 2015.

The man was released into the custody of Northern Territory Police Detectives who travelled to Broome, Western Australia, on 6 March 2019.

He was charged with manslaughter and was extradited to Darwin on 8 March 2019.

The man was remanded in custody and he is due to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 19 March 2019.
