A factory fire in Campbellfield is creating a large volume of black smoke that is spreading towards the city.
Anyone located in Broadmeadows, Pascoe Vale , Coburg should take shelter indoors immediately from the smoke ensuring all exterior doors, windows and vents are turned closed and that heating and cooling systems are turned off.

- Close all exterior doors and windows.
- Turn off heating and cooling systems.
- Close fireplaces and vents.
- You should avoid the warning area.
- Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
- Bring your pets indoors.
- If you are currently driving in the area you should close the windows in your vehicle and turn off the air conditioning.
