Fast-food delivery driver robbed by armed offender at Orange, NSW

Police are appealing for information after a fast-food delivery driver was robbed by an armed offender in the state’s Central West.

About 9.15pm Friday (6 September 2019), the driver attended a home on Sir Neville Howse Place at Orange to deliver an order.

After gaining no response, the victim turned to leave and was confronted by a man brandishing a golf club and demanding money.

The man was given a small amount of cash and food items.

The delivery driver returned to his vehicle and left the scene unharmed.

Officers attached to Central West Police District were notified and have commenced an investigation into the incident.

The man has been described as of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, wearing a black bandana with a white/ light coloured pattern, a black zipper hooded jumper and long black pants.
