Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Mount Richmond this evening.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a truck on Portland-Nelson Road just before 5pm.
The yet-to-be formally identified driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
