A female solo rider has lost her life after the motorbike she was riding collided head-on with an SUV in Pakenham Upper this afternoon.
Investigators have been told the rider was travelling south along Pakenham Road when the incident occurred just before 2pm.
It’s believed the rider veered onto the opposite side of the road where she clipped a utility before colliding head on with an SUV.
The woman, aged in her 50s, died at the scene.
The male driver of the utility and the female driver of the SUV were not injured.
