Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Hawthorn this morning.
Investigators have been told a truck collided with a pedestrian near the intersection of Burwood Road and Power Street about 9am.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene has spoken with police.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
