A man has died following a fatal crash at Carpenter Rocks in the States South East last night.
About 11.30pm Thursday 6 July emergency services were called to the intersection of Pelican Point Road and Carpenter Rocks Road after a car that had been travelling north left the road and crashed into scrub.
Sadly, the driver and sole occupant, a 52-year-old local man died at the scene.
Major Crash officers flew to the scene early this morning to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man’s death is the 63rd life lost on SA Roads this year, compared to 40 at the same time last year.
