One person has died following a serious crash in Te Kūiti yesterday.
Police were called to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Carroll Street/SH3 at the intersection with Ward Street about 7.50pm.
Sadly, despite best efforts, the pedestrian died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination.
Police’s enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
