Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Beaumaris overnight.
It is understood a car was travelling citybound on Beach Road when it left the road and crashed onto the Bay Trail about 12.30am.
One male passenger died at the scene.
Another male passenger was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, a 23-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.
He sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital under police guard.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident, and police are urging anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check their dashcam.
