Police are now in a position to release the name of the person who died following a crash in New Plymouth on 12 April.
He was 73-year-old Dennis Norman Berridge, of Westown, New Plymouth.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
