Police can confirm one person has died following a crash in Te Puke on 1 September.
The crash involved a pedestrian and took place on Te Puke Highway (near Manoeka Road) at about 9pm.
The road was closed for several hours and has now reopened.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.
